Willow

This was a university project where we were tasked to create a limited edition vinyl cover and Instagram advertisement.

This was a solo project in which I completed the following:

• Ideation

• Photography

• Photoshop

• Editing

• Animation

1. Ideation - I chose an album which at the time was my favourite to listen to while studying. From there, I began listening to the songs and picking up on different emotions, and phrases etc. in order to come up with design ideas.

2. Photography - I took photographs which I could use for the album cover concepts. I also found imagery onine of the artist.

3. Photoshop - I edited the imagery to get the desired effect.

4. After Effects - I created the animated sequence, keeping it lively, vibrant and in line with the branding I had created.

The outcome is a short animated sequence that promotes the album and a series of three covers (the chosen design being the blue and red image of Willow). It is fresh and vibrant.
